Setup guide
How to open the standalone app.
Keep the extracted folder together. Do not run the application directly from inside the ZIP file.
Download and extract
- Select Download for Windows and save net9.0-windows.zip.
- Open your Downloads folder after the file has finished downloading.
- Right-click net9.0-windows.zip and choose Extract All....
- Choose a permanent folder, such as Documents or Desktop, then select Extract.
Open IDSofts Downloader
- Open the newly extracted folder.
- Find and double-click IDSoftsVideoAndMP3Downloader.exe.
- If Windows shows a security prompt, review it and select More info then Run anyway only if you downloaded the ZIP from IDSofts.
- Choose your download folder in the app, then paste a supported link and select Load queue.

Start downloading in a few steps.
IDSofts Video And MP3 Downloader is a Windows desktop app. Use it only with content you own or are authorised to save.
Download a video or MP3
- Choose your download folder.
- Paste a supported YouTube video, mix, or playlist link.
- Select Load queue and review the listed items.
- Choose video quality and a maximum item count when needed.
- Select Save video or Save MP3.
Download by name
- Open Download By Name with an active Pro or Ultimate license.
- Enter one request per line as Artist Name - Song Name.
- Select Search YouTube.
- Review the suggested results before saving them.
- Use MP3 Tools to edit tags, find song details, or rename saved files.
